EVENT MANAGEMENT & NGO
EVENT HEADS
Since my college days, I have been deeply motivated to create meaningful impact within the social and community development space. To contribute to this vision, I joined Vocal for Local Ranchi as a core team member an initiative recognized by various government bodies for its work toward empowering underprivileged children and supporting local businesses.
Guided by the belief that local talent deserves a larger platform, I conceptualized and led the planning of “Startup Mela,” a two-day state-level event designed to showcase homegrown brands and startups. The event drew over 10,000 visitors, becoming one of Ranchi’s most successful community-driven initiatives a testament to the power of collaboration and local entrepreneurship.
A vision that transformed community spirit into a state-level movement celebrating entrepreneurship and local growth.
Leading Startup Mela taught me the value of strategic planning, stakeholder management, and on-ground coordination. From pitching to sponsors and partners to collaborating with government authorities, artists, and vendors, I learned to navigate complex ecosystems with clarity and empathy. Overseeing funding, logistics, and legal documentation for an event of this scale strengthened my leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Most importantly, it deepened my understanding of how design, when driven by purpose, can enable systems that create real social and economic change.
